Altitude of Vineyards: 432 mt. asl
Vineyards Exposure: the vineyards face southeast, southwest
Soil Composition: mixed clayey-calcareous
Grapes: 100% Montepulciano
Number of vines per hectare: 3.630-8.000
Crop yield: 100-120 q/ha
Harvest: handpicked, from 15 to 30 October
Fermentation: in 130-hl. stainless steel vats, with daily pump-overs at a controlled temperature for 15 days
Aging: in stainless steel vats from 6 to 9 months; in bottle from 1 to 3 months
