Through the centuries, the Venna stream (‘Fonte Venna’) provided nourishment for the farmers that cultivated the lands of the baronial domain ‘Il Feuduccio’. Intense ruby in color, its spicy and red-fruit bouquet is confirmed on a structured and persistent palate.
Altitude of Vineyards: 432 mt. asl
Vineyards Exposure: the vineyards are excellently facing southeast, south, southwest
Soil Composition: mixed clayey-calcareous
Grapes: 100% Montepulciano
Number of Vines per Hectare: 3.600-8.000
Crop Yield: 100-110 q/ha
Harvest: handpicked, from 15 to 30 October
Fermentation: in 130-hl. stainless steel vats, with daily pumpovers at a controlled temperature for 15 days
Aging: bottle for at least 3 months
