Soil Composition: mixed clayey-calcareous
Grapes: 100% Montepulciano
Number of vines per hectare: 3.600-8.000
Crop yield: 80 q/ha
Harvest: hand-picked from 15 to 30 October
Fermentation: 70 to 150 hl. stainless steel vats, with daily pumpovers at a controlled temperature for 15-18 days; maceration for 18-20 days
Elevage: French oak, 2.25 hl barrels, for 20 months
Aging: bottle for at least 20 months
